Readers, you are in luck.
today was quite the adventure.
the first being the beginning of something very great--CROSS COUNTRY. Today the organizational meeting marked the start of yet another season of one of the greatest adventures of my young life. Cross country is just so great. the look on everyone's faces matched with the feeling in the meeting today was just right.
secondly, today we encountered a haggard, weary, and worn dog wandering the streets around school (props to sus for those stellar adjectives). Contrary to my objections, my sister and company decided to keep this dog because they could not find the owner. I was so furious with them for taking in this scruffy dog that could possibly be carrying rabies. where is the sense in that bunch?
one look at the dog melted my cold heart.
they cleaned him up and named him Klein (after the street where he was found--Kleinert)
but then our neighbor renamed him Joseph because Klein reminded her of Hitler (...?)
the last adventure of the day was at St. George youth group. We played a pretty intense game of frisbee. One in which I was tackled (yes, tackled) to the ground by no other than
Suezilla Fasanosaurus.
that's all folks.
